Stop-A-Flat was invented in the late 1970's by a rancher, Jack D. Priddy, in the mesquite country near Amarillo TX as a matter of necessity. He was constantly airing up tires every morning to conduct his daily operations. After finding a successful formula he shared it with his friends and neighbors who ran it on the highway and in the fields for over 20 years with proven results before sharing it with the world. Before being introduced to the public the formula was slightly modified by chemists to provide extra protection.
